Greetings, salutations, & welcome!

I am the Social Media & Digital Communications Manager at the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) in Washington, DC. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Advanced Studies in International Affairs at the University of California, San Diego. I am also the 2023 Economics Expert in the Young Professionals in Foreign Policy Rising Experts program.

Born & raised in Troy, Michigan, I took my Midwestern love of ranch dressing & saying "ope" to a dual undergraduate degree program between Sciences Po Paris (Institut d'Etudes Politiques) & the University of British Columbia. Over the course of four years, spanning two continents, I studied economics & marketing, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts & a Bachelor of Commerce, respectively. I spent four years in Washington, DC at PIIE before moving to San Diego in the fall of 2022 to pursue my studies part-time while remaining full-time remote at PIIE.

As a Chronically Online individual, I have too much knowledge of the memes du jour, but I'm also exposed to some of the most interesting & important global topics du jour. Along with the ins & outs of the subject matter at PIIE, this has coalesced my interest in the nexus of the following areas: US foreign policy & national security, multinational corporations & foreign direct investment, & supply chain integrity—economic statecraft with particular concern for human rights.

You can find my most current and visible work at the PIIE Twitter & other social media accounts (do note the posts are by me, the research is not!). I am also pleased to say I have a weekly column in PIIE's flagship newsletter PIIE Insider, where I discuss current economic events. You can subscribe to that here
